At VolleyUS, our club evaluation process is objective, transparent, and built on high-repetition observation. Our Technical Directors design realistic match situations, testing transition tempos, technical platforms, serving stress, and overall match intelligence. No volunteer parent selection biases.
Multi-Day Formatted Repetitions
Two primary sessions allow coaches to observe consistent performance under varying on-court tempos.

Tryout Day Checklist & Guidelines
- 1Online Registration Required: All players must complete their registration online through their Player Center Family Profile prior to arrival.
- 2Completed Medical Release Form: Bring a printed copy of your completed medical release form. This is mandatory for participation.
- 3Non-Marking Footwear Mandate: Clean, indoor non-marking court shoes are required. Street shoes are absolutely prohibited on our wood gym floors.
Pre-Season Evaluation Prep Clinics
Prepare for club evaluations with our high-repetition prep clinics. Technical Directors simulate tryout drills, teach standard transition tempos, and help players shake off evaluation nerves.
June Prep Session 1
Pre-season intensive evaluation clinic. Focuses on tryout simulation drills, dynamic transition play, and direct on-court coaching to prepare players for club evaluations.
June Prep Session 2
Advanced tryout tune-up clinic. Covers positional drill-work, high-repetition serving and passing patterns, and court communication drills to shake off evaluation-day nerves.

Age Divisions & Placement Guidelines
Tryout placements strictly follow the standard USAV youth age definitions (ranging from U10 up through U18 divisions). All players must complete their registration online and sign the digital liability waiver within their Player Center Family profile. No walk-in evaluations or cash registrations will be processed on court to ensure strict capacity management and player safety.
